Indulging…Apple cinnamon pancakes with salted carmel sauce!!

I felt like making something different from the usual today for myself. Saw apples in the fruit basket and thought, well lets play around with them. I ended up making absolutely melting in the mouth pancakes with a cheats carmel sauce!! Super easy.. No fuss!!the following recipe will easily serve two people!

Ingredients
For the pancakes
Apple (grated). 1medium
All purpose Flour. 2/3 cup
Yoghurt. 1/3 cup
Milk 2/3 cup
Baking powder. 1/2 tsp
Salt. 1/4tsp
Brown sugar. 1tbsp
Cinnamon powder. 1/2 tsp
Melted butter 2 tbsp

For the sauce
Butter. 1 tbsp
Sugar. 1 tbsp
Milk. 2/3 cup
Salt. 1/2 tsp

How to make it
Mix together all the ingredients for the pancakes. Heat a non stick pan, and pour a ladle of the mix onto the pan, fry on both sides till golden brown.( the pancakes will rise and develop bubbles).
This mix should make 6 pancakes.
In a heavy bottomed sauce pan add the butter and sugar and heat till butter melts. Then keep stirring it on medium heat till the sugar turns a nice golden, add the milk and bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes or until you get a glossy sauce, add in the salt.
Serve in portions of three generously drizzled with the sauce!
Best served piping hot!
