Til wale sukhe Aloo ( Sesame Potatoes)

This is one of my favourite forms of potato. Its quick as well as super healthy!
Its a modified version of a recipe that is cooked by my Mom’s friend! What I do is I omit the oil that she adds…completely!
The best part about these potatoes is that I can prepare the dry masala in bulk and store in an air tight container!
You can have it as a snack, as a side dish or as a main course dish! Its versatile, easy to prepare and very very Yumm!!

Ingredients

For the Masala
3 tbsp White Sesame seeds ( til)
2 tbsp Coriander seeds
1/2 tsp Deghi mirch powder ( Kashmiri red chilli powder)
Salt to taste

Other Ingredients
3 big potatoes- boiled and cut in cubes
1 green chilli finely chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Few leaves of coriander

How to make it
The masala
Dry roast the sesame seeds and the coriander seeds separately. When cool grind to a fine powder.
Mix together, add chilli powder and salt. Store in an airtight jar for up-to 2 weeks when refrigerated!

Assembling the potatoes
In a large bowl add the warm potatoes, toss in the masala, chillies, lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix well and serve immediately!

Its as simple as that, but very very Yum!!
