Kashmiri Kahwa Tea

Kashmiri Kahwa is an aromatic tea infused with subtle flavours of whole spices.
Its delicate on your palate and perfect for the times when you crave some warmth and yet don’t want all the heaviness of a classic milk tea or coffee!
Your cup of Kahwa does not only come with great flavour, but it packs in some great Health Benefits. Kahwa is a drink, that provides warmth, it helps to combat minor flues, and cures chest congestions! Its great for headaches as well!
Make this cup using the beat quality products that you can buy! The kashmiri tea leaves are available at most supermarkets. If you can’t find these special leaves, green tea leaves will also do, although you will not get the same flavour.
Its supposed to be consumed without milk, but if simple black tea is not upto your taste, just add a spoon of warm milk to it!
Make this cup and be enveloped in the warmth this drink provides!ย

  2. I love tea, and this looks like something I just have to try. Can I ask you: are Kashmiri Kawa tea leaves something special, or can I just use normal black tea leaves?

Hi, thanks for visiting the blog!
Kashmiri tea is a special tea, processed in a different way! So yes using it will make the difference!
If you don’t have this tea, you can’t use black tea leaves cause it has a very strong flavour. Just use some basic green tea leaves, original, with no flavour additions!

  3. PS: I know you said ‘green tea’, but there are so many to choose from.

  4. I recently got a chance to make it and liked it.It is so rich in Indian spices ๐Ÿ™‚
